David Hoffmeister is a modern-day mystic who has been invited to over 30 countries and 49 states to shine and share his consistently peaceful state of mind, radiant joy and dedication to Truth. This book is a compilation of his teachings, collected from email messages, website postings, and interviews. It also includes transcripts of in-depth dialogues from the earliest days of his work with those who came from around the world to join with him. The book consists of three volumes: Book One—Laying the Foundation, Book Two—Unlearning the World, and Book Three—Transfer of Training. David’s journey involved the study of many pathways culminating in a deeply committed practical application of A Course in Miracles. His astonishing gift for applying the metaphysics of the Course to everyday issues and concerns brings the deep ideas of the Course to life. The essays and conversations in this book work like an elixir that has the power to literally unwind the willing mind back home to God. Get ready to have your world rocked and turned upside down! David Hoffmeister’s life is a living demonstration of the mind awakened. Your life will never be the same after joining David and his students in going deep into the unwinding of everything you think you think and everything you think you know—opening the way to the experience of who and what you truly are. The mind may be boggled by this book's uncompromising approach, but the Heart will soar in recognition

This eight-volume set is the end product of a series of classes I conducted at our Foundation's former location in New York. The classes consisted of a line-by-line analysis of the lessons, introductions, reviews, summaries, and the Epilogue. I have considerably enlarged some of the original discussion, supplying additional references to other relevant portions of the Course, the Preface, the two pamphlets, poems from The Gifts of God, and the prose poem "The Gifts of God." This work can thus be seen as a complete Course companion to accompany students on their own journey through the workbook. My purpose in presenting the classes originally, as it remains in this book, was to help students better understand the meaning of the lessons and their place in the curriculum of A Course in Miracles, and most of all, to help students see the importance of applying the daily lessons to their everyday lives. Without such application, the brilliance of Jesus' words is wasted, and they become simply a sterile system of intellectual teachings. This book can be read in at least three ways: 1) straight through, as one would do with the text; 2) different lessons at different times; or 3) one lesson at a time, as a companion to each lesson. I would urge students, however, if they are doing the workbook for the first time, to read the lessons as they are, without my commentary. In other words, as with all my other work on A Course in Miracles, this book is meant to supplement a student's experience of the workbook, not to substitute for the workbook as it was given to us.(Adapted from the Preface)

Hundreds of grassroots groups have sprung up around the world to teach programming, web design, robotics, and other skills outside traditional classrooms. These groups exist so that people don't have to learn these things on their own, but ironically, their founders and instructors are often teaching themselves how to teach. There's a better way. This book presents evidence-based practices that will help you create and deliver lessons that work and build a teaching community around them. Topics include the differences between different kinds of learners, diagnosing and correcting misunderstandings, teaching as a performance art, what motivates and demotivates adult learners, how to be a good ally, fostering a healthy community, getting the word out, and building alliances with like-minded groups. The book includes over a hundred exercises that can be done individually or in groups, over 350 references, and a glossary to help you navigate educational jargon.

In this expanded and revised edition of a fresh and original case-study textbook on environmental ethics, Christine Gudorf and James Huchingson continue to explore the line that separates the current state of the environment from what it should be in the future. Boundaries begins with a lucid overview of the field, highlighting the key developments and theories in the environmental movement. Specific cases offer a rich and diverse range of situations from around the globe, from saving the forests of Java and the use of pesticides in developing countries to restoring degraded ecosystems in Nebraska. With an emphasis on the concrete circumstances of particular localities, the studies continue to focus on the dilemmas and struggles of individuals and communities who face daunting decisions with serious consequences. This second edition features extensive updates and revisions, along with four new cases: one on water privatization, one on governmental efforts to mitigate global climate change, and two on the obstacles that teachers of environmental ethics encounter in the classroom. Boundaries also includes an appendix for teachers that describes how to use the cases in the classroom.

The dialogue presents the Course's approach to issues such as food addictions and pre-occupation with weight. In a discussion with three students of A Course in Miracles, Kenneth points out the ego dynamics involved, and how forgiveness and the choice to accept the Holy Spirit's purpose of experiencing the peace of God, rather than the ego's purpose of fostering guilt can be applied to the issues raised.

Gnosis means knowledge. But we are not referring to just any knowledge. Gnosis is knowledge which produces a great transformation in those who receive it. Knowledge capable of nothing less than waking up man and helping him to escape from the prison in which he finds himself. That is why Gnosis has been so persecuted throughout the course of history, because it is knowledge considered dangerous for the religious and political authorities who govern mankind from the shadows. Every time this religion, absolutely different from the rest, appears before man, the other religions unite to try to destroy or hide it again. Primordial Gnosis is the original Gnosis, true Gnosis, eternal Gnosis, Gnostic knowledge in its pure form. Due to multiple persecutions, Primordial Gnosis has been fragmented, distorted and hidden.
