In all, the sum of 16 has been paid from the receipts, on account Of the Court House, above the sum raised by loan, rather than hire money, while sufficient funds were remaining in the Treasury. And notwithstanding this, there is now in the City Treasury, the sum of 85, which is a larger cash balance than was ever before on hand at the close of any municipal year.
