Treatment consists in Spraying with Bordeaux mixture; in climates with frequent rains in summer this is done several times at regular intervals, in order to keep the Vines well covered with Spray at all times; In California this would not be necessary. Spray ing should be regulated entirely by the rainfall. If there is no rain there is no danger whatever of winter blight, and no need of spraying.
