Psychogons are of central importance for parapsychology, religions, magic and mysticism. Most people are unaware of the connections between the different versions of assumptions among themselves, due to the inconsistency in language use in the religious and esoteric scene – which is especially noticeable in the area of research of psychogons. The word “psychogon” as a term for the underlying phenomenon is only known to few. Instead, terms for very specific observations and practices are used frequently. The fact that all these different cases represent one and the same phenomenon in different variations and views is no longer recognized. This leads to a fragmentation of researches, impedes the establishment of fundamental theories and results in unnecessary quarrels. This e-book outlines the different terms and approaches, in an attempt to show the similarities and the basical mechanisms.

This book is a thorough compilation of important topics regarding the etheric body - including OBEs and perception in the etheric body, silver cord, false awakening and more. Students of the topic will find valuable information here, including practical advices on out-of-body experiences in the etheric body.

"Astral travel or astral projection, abbreviated OBE (out-of-body-experience), means travelling through subtle planes. It does not really matter if it is doubted that this possibility exists – what is important is that these experiences are highly exciting and allow us to grow inside as a person. With a perceptible and visible body, we experience an unknown environment that seems to be as real as the physical world. Sometimes we are even more awake and we experience everything with more intensity than in everyday life. We step into a world full of wonder and beauty. In this, we are not simply passive observers, but instead we are able to knock on someone’s door, to go in and speak with the people who live there. Through astral travel, my inner life has been enriched enormously. In repeated experiences on the astral plane, encounters with deceased and highly evolved beings, I could strengthen my own belief in a world beyond and in afterlife. Life has gained a deeper meaning – it is not only for short-lived pleasure and fun. Instead, higher goals are pursued, and it becomes possible to evolve as a person." This book presents and explains different phenomena and methods of astral travelling. It also contains considerations on lucid dreaming vs. astral travelling. People who are studying the phenomena of astral travelling will find plenty of information here.

Everyone who is familiar with this subject automatically may wonder why there has to be another book about a topic on which already thousands of books and countless internet articles have been written. And naturally, one may think that this is a typical yoga topic with that many people want to pretend themselves to be knowing and experienced. There are no objections to these arguments. When you type "Kundalini" in google, you’ll find more than 11 million articles. What an amount of texts and product offerings! In this light it seems totally unnecessary to add more "knowledge", and that’s not the intention of this e-book. But what is needed is a natural approach in order to help us to distinguish between those many truths and untruths which can be found in the internet. This is what this e-book tries to do. In order to follow our intuition and reason, we need a simplification!

The time of dreaming is the gift of a second life. If we neglect this part of our inner selves it will become chaotic and aggressive. In that case the inner world becomes like everything that is being neglected – not beautiful at all. Most people believe that they are helplessly exposed to the world of dreams and that they can only sit and watch. That's not true. We can do a lot and if we do we will be richly rewarded. What can we do? We can observe our dreams and learn from them. What do they want to tell us? And do we want to understand what they are telling us? Just as the dreams are connected with the everyday life, the daily life is connected with the dreams. What does that mean? In our dreams our souls get visible and alive in their own self made worlds; with all their powers, with their conflicts and their promises. These forces affect the everyday life. Not only our mood but also our destiny. Do we want to be helplessly exposed to these forces? Can we escape them? Wherever one may go these mental powers will always follow. It is better to do the work that our psyche has given us. We mature and grow while doing that and plus the world around us (and in us) gets brighter and more beautiful.

In the early days of photography, many believed and hoped that the camera would prove more efficient than the human eye in capturing the unseen. Spiritualists and animists of the nineteenth century seized on the new technology as a method of substantiating the existence of supernatural beings and happenings. This fascinating book assembles more than 250 photographic images from the Victorian era to the 1960s, each purporting to document an occult phenomenon: levitations, apparitions, transfigurations, ectoplasms, spectres, ghosts, and auras. Drawn from the archives of European and American occult societies and private and public collections, the photographs in many cases have never before been published. The Perfect Medium studies these rare and remarkable photographs through cultural, historical, and artistic lenses. More than mere curiosities, the images on film are important records of the cultural forces and technical methods that brought about their production. They document in unexpected ways a period when developing photographic technology merged with a popular obsession with the occult to create a new genre of haunting experimental photographs.

Thought Forms is a book, by Annie Besant and C.W. Leadbeater, which is a study on the nature and power of thoughts. The authors state that thoughts have two effects: "a radiating vibration and a floating form." Thought forms are divided into three classes: -That which takes the image of the thinker. -That which takes the image of some material object. -That which takes a form entirely its own, expressing its inherent qualities in the matter which it draws round it. The effect of music, emotions, and colors on thought forms is also studied in the book. The effect of the music of Felix Mendelssohn (No. 9 of his "Songs without words"), Charles Gounod (Soldiers Chorus from "Faust") and Richard Wagner (Overture to "The Meistersingers") is studied. The music of Wagner produced a "marvellos mountain-range" on the thought forms.
