Do you seek to know more about the foundation and modern practices of witchcraft? In Witches’ Craft, Bruce Wilborn demystifies Wicca—a religion that is loving and nonjudgmental. Wicca’s strength is in its ability to provide spiritual light for a truly diverse group of people. However, its expansive range of rituals and traditions may be confusing to the new practitioner. Witches’ Craft provides detailed explanations of practices from each of the five major Wiccan traditions, removing the shroud of mystery surrounding one of the fastest-growing religions of the twenty-first century.

“If there is one quote from this book which deserves to be emblazoned on the opening pages of your Book of Shadows; above the door of your house (or temple); and in every mind it is this: ‘Wicca is not a place to go, it is a journey to take.’”—Spiral Nature For thousands of years, we have been told that God was a man. Then someone reminded us of when God was a woman. Now we have a reference for the sensible folk who have always felt that it takes two. If you have ever thought there was more to religion than ancient rituals performed for reasons unknown, this book will show you exactly what you have been looking for. If you have already come to the realization that Wicca is the religion for you, this book will help fill those many blanks that have been left by other books. Author A.J. Drew makes no attempt to dictate religious dogma or routine. He is quick to point out that the title does not start with the word the. He illustrates the many issues a person’s religion should address and shows how he has been able to find answers to those issues through the practice of a modern religion that was based on some of the oldest principles of the ancient world. A Wiccan Bible takes you through the journey of life in three stages: • Maiden and Master: Creation, Wiccaning, and Self-dedication. • Mother and Father: Initiation, Handfasting/Handparting, and the Wheel of the Year. • Crone and Sage: Community, the world, and death. Mythology and science converge as the author details a life’s journey into a religion with both old world ritual and new world science, fusing both into a creation myth which satisfies not only mind, but soul as well. A Wiccan Bible not only shows a religious path filled with joy, but one that offers the ability to accept and manage sorrow. It is filled with ritual and with the reasons why ritual is fulfilling, rewarding, and a necessary part of everyday life. As A.J. addresses each issue, he demonstrates not only how he found the solutions in Wicca, and the many ways in which science and magick have helped him to do so. A Wiccan Bible also contains select recipes that the author has collected, including mixtures for incense, oils, and baths.

Christian Wicca: Oxymoron or the Best of Both World? Finally, a how-to guide for practicing Wicca, celebrating the return of the original Christian Trinity: the Father, the Mother, and the Holy Son Jesus. This book is written expressly for Wiccans who wish to walk the spiritual path of earth-based religions, but do not wish to surrender their Judeo-Christian background. Nancy now offers a simple solution to the rapidly emerging ChristoPagan community. Wicca, the Old Religion, or the religion of the wise, is the fastest growing form of spirituality in the United States. Many modern and eclectic Christians have no problem recognizing Jesus as Lord, but instead have a problem accepting the dogma of the organized church. Seekers are also feeling the absense of the Female aspect of the Divine and wish to re-establish the Goddess in their spirituality. In the wake of the discoveries of the Nag Hammadi Library, for the first time since 100-300 A.C.E. - the yin of the Christian faith is seeking to restore it's yang! Despite the overwhelming evidence that there is a Divine Mother --- no one has applied this information to Wicca and the Holy Days of the Wheel of the Year. "Christian Wicca: the Trinitarian Tradition" does this very task, outlining the Sabbats, the Esbats to include the Holy Trinity . . . also introducing observances expressly for Jesus, called Kyriats! Blessed Be!!

Cultures, for as long as we have had history, have had some sense of magic. This book contends that some of it, at least, is real; it describes what that is, and why the Bible is so negative about it. However, to say 'magic is real' in our contemporary culture could be very misleading. In fact, wrong. For what our culture thinks of as 'magic' - as vague and diffuse as that is - is likely to be very different from what was practised in the Ancient Near East (the things that modern English translations of the Old Testament call, for instance, sorcery or witchcraft) or in the Greco-Roman world (what the New Testament calls magic). It also may be very different from what is called 'magic' or 'witchcraft' in animistic or ancestor-worshipping cultures today. This book unpacks the background and explores the implications of the biblical teaching about the supernatural. There is a supernatural world, and it contains more than just God in Trinity; but Christians should not be afraid of it. Kirsty Birkett is Latimer Research Fellow at Oak Hill College, where she is responsible for Learning Architecture and Educational Development, and teaches Ethics, Philosophy and Church History. Her many publications cover the whole area of relationships between science and religion. She has also written on psychology, feminism and the family for both a popular and academic audience.
