Normally, we come to the world from parents who are not educated in the way they raise us. Often, our parents dump their pathology on us, and keep us struggling in our lives to free ourselves from such burdens. Following that, we enter the outside world and we observe a lot of dysfunctions in society. We then continue to sail through the journey of our lives with painful dysfunctions. We become confused, frustrated, less happy, and disappointed in ourselves and in the world around us, because we have not being taught or guided to discover who we are, and to know our true essence. We have not been provided the right tools to manage our lives effectively. The way we learned to do things is merely trial and error. Furthermore, among all other species, human beings take longer to be independent from parents or caregivers. We need more time to mature so we can rely on ourselves. Therefore, a book such as this can be useful to guide us through the labyrinth of our lives.

This book has investigated numerous phenomena of human destructive behaviors, and we have seen how much such behaviors have contributed to human suffering, agony, and aggression. And we try to answer why we behave destructively. There are myriad answers to that. But the most prominent answer is when God created the universe and humankind, the first program that was instilled in us was the human wicked, or destructive, inclination, before anything else. So since God the Almighty instilled in us such a wicked program, then we are doomed from the start. You may go further and say that its unfair that we come to this world with a bad start. As the existential thinkers put it intelligently, our existence is merely a cruel trick.

The Triumph of Vulgarity in a thinker's guide to rock 'n' roll. Rock music mirrors the tradition of nineteenth-century Romaniticsm, Robert Patison says. Whitman's "barbaric yawp" can still be heard in the punk rock of the Ramones, and the spirit that inspired Poe's Eureka lives on in the lyrics of Talking Heads. Rock is vulgar, Pattison notes, and vulgarity is something that high culture has long despised but rarely bothered to define. This book is the first effort since John Ruskin and Aldous Huxley to describe in depth what vulgarity is, and how, with the help of ideas inherent in Romaniticism, it has slipped the constraints imposed on it by refined culture and established its own loud arts. The book disassembles the various myths of rock: its roots in black and folk music; the primacy it accords to feeling and self; the sexual omnipotence of rock stars; the satanic predilictions of rock fans; and rock's high-voltage image of the modern Prometheus wielding an electric guitar. Pattison treats these myths as vulgar counterparts of their originals in refined Romantic art and offers a description and justification of rock's central place in the social and aesthetic structure of modern culture. At a time when rock lyrics have provoked parental outrage and senatorial hearings, The Triumph of Vulgarity is required reading for anyone interested in where rock comes from and how it works.
