The end sought isfluency and confidence To secure this and at the same time keep pupils to the point will require the most skillful repression of the incorrect and the irrelevant. Training in arrangement will be secured by selecting stories, out of those told by the teacher, which exhibit the quality of consecutiveness - ih which the sequence of parts is so close that one part calls for the next. With each successive re production ou the part of pupils there should be more and more of detail and coloring.
