In the introduction to 'Romance of the Hebrew Calendar,' author Raphael Ben Levi writes, "This book is about relationships, I make no apologies for it. When everything has been said and done, what are we left with that endures? Relationships, borne out of agape love. This is what the deepest and most authentic relationships are composed of from beginning to end." This absorbing and ground breaking book will inspire readers to develop a deeper relationship with God, and bring restoration to those who are spiritually broken. According to the author, there is a special heartbeat that pulsates through the veins of the biblical year which has helped shape the identity of the Jewish people. Written from a Jewish messianic perspective, 'Romance of the Hebrew Calendar' contains inspirational and fresh insights that are highly engaging and provocative. The main theme is complemented by a rich compendium of poignant stories and devotions drawn from Jewish tradition, historical archives and firsthand accounts. The Jewish festivals are lovingly presented to demonstrate a unified message of redemption. The months of the Hebrew calendar are accompanied by individual sections relating to the constellation connected to each tribe as represented by their banner or flag. The Hebrew word 'mazal,' from the plural word 'mazzaroth' is associated with the patterns of stars in the sky, and we find various biblical references to it such as in the Book of Job. In addition, 'Romance of the Hebrew Calendar,' contains individual sections for each chapter relating to the jewels of the high priest's ephod, their colours and their inherent connection with the twelve tribes of Israel. The combined messages contained within the biblical feasts, the mazzaroth and the jewels of the high priest's ephod, converge to form a unified declaration of God's love, revealed in Yeshua Ha Meshiach that will capture your imagination and attention. This book is beautifully written, easy to read and contains many insights and revelations that are interwoven and presented to make it a treasure to adorn every bookshelf.

“Fresh, fun, and unbelievably hot, Audrey Carlan's Calendar Girl series will have you falling in love over and over again and craving the next installment." ~ Meredith Wild, #1 NYT Bestselling Author It’s really simple. I needed money. A lot of money. One million dollars to be exact. The amount didn’t matter. All that mattered is that at the end of that price tag held my father’s life. No money. No life. The time limit was one year. On January 1st I had to pay up or my Father was going to be killed. When you’re faced with an ultimatum like this, you do whatever you have to do. And that’s exactly what I did. The job…Exquisite Escorts. My role, serve as high priced arm candy to anyone that can afford the $100,000 price tag for a month of my company. Sex is optional (for me) and a 20% increase on the price. Mia Saunders just barely escaped a paltry life back home in Las Vegas until she gets the call that her Father has been beaten to within an inch of his life for not paying his gambling debt. Problem is, the lone shark is her lousy, ruthless ex-boyfriend. Another guy in a long line of men she’d fallen head over heels for. Not anymore. Mia’s mission is simple. Serve as a high-priced escort for her Aunt’s company and pay monthly against her Father’s bad debt. A month with a rich man who she doesn’t have to sleep with if she doesn’t want to? Easy money. At least that’s the way it was supposed to go. Warning: This book is designed for audiences 18+ due to language and graphic sexual content.

Romance and the Gentry in Late Medieval England offers a new history of Middle English romance, the most popular genre of secular literature in the English Middle Ages. Michael Johnston argues that many of the romances composed in England from 1350-1500 arose in response to the specific socio-economic concerns of the gentry, the class of English landowners who lacked titles of nobility and hence occupied the lower rungs of the aristocracy. The end of the fourteenth century in England witnessed power devolving to the gentry, who became one of the dominant political and economic forces in provincial society. As Johnston demonstrates, this social change also affected England's literary culture, particularly the composition and readership of romance. Romance and the Gentry in Late Medieval England identifies a series of new topoi in Middle English that responded to the gentry's economic interests. But beyond social history and literary criticism, it also speaks to manuscript studies, showing that most of the codices of the "gentry romances" were produced by those in the immediate employ of the gentry. By bringing together literary criticism and manuscript studies, this book speaks to two scholarly communities often insulated from one another: it invites manuscript scholars to pay closer attention to the cultural resonances of the texts within medieval codices; simultaneously, it encourages literary scholars to be more attentive to the cultural resonances of surviving medieval codices.
