In 'Resurrection Psychology', Margaret Alter advances a system of psychology based upon biblical Christianity. Moving away from the notion that therapy must be completely value-neutral, the author suggests how the worlds of psychology and theology can enhance and inform one another. The result is a practical model of human personality observable in Jesus' life and teachings. As a practicing therapist and adjunct professor, Alter combines her extensive experience with years of study to offer a fresh approach to the field of psychology. By examining gospel stories that represent ten major themes and applying them to individual lives today, this book draws upon the teachings of Jesus as it addresses and transforms contemporary theories of psychology.

This unique work – the fruit of many decades’ research and experience – throws new light on the supersensible history and karma of the Michaelic movement since Rudolf Steiner’s death. It describes that movement’s evolution and transformation in the etheric world during the twentieth century, from the world-changing apocalypse of the 1930s and 40s through to the beginning of its incarnation on Earth at the end of last century. The book also focuses on developments in the practical and social work of building the community of the School of Spiritual Science, which embodies the new Michaelic movement in our time. As Ben-Aharon indicates, the Michaelic movement is searching for creative, courageous and enthusiastic souls to foster a strong community that develops – from one decade to the next – as a living organism. Based on the continuous resurrection of anthroposophy, this community strives to create a fully conscious meeting and communication with the school of Michael and Christ in the etheric world, in a form that is appropriate and demanded by the times. The transcripts of these lectures bring together the author’s experiences with anthroposophy over the last 42 years in the light of present communications from the spiritual world. It is based on contemporary spiritual investigation and individual, lived experience. From the Contents: ‘The Amfortas-Parsifal Duality of Modern Humanity’; ‘The Twilight of Humanity and its Resurrection’; ‘The Universal Language of Michael and the Being of Rudolf Steiner’; ‘The Anthroposophical Movement in the Present’; ‘The Etheric Form is Alive’; ‘The Resurrection of the Etheric Christ in the 21st Century’.

This book is called "The Resurrection of Humanity" because the only way to stop the destruction of our world, and the decreasing consciousness of our Creator, is to wake us all up, and that includes both universes, the centre, magnetic universe in which we are all currently trapped holograms, and the peripheral, electric universe we need to return to. Our Creator developed amnesia the moment his/her creations forgot their true spiritual essence. We forgot our true, perfect self, the moment we experienced the lack of, and the idea of being inferior to others, preventing us from feeling Self love which is the energy that creates new life. Instead of living, by creating new thoughts and experiences, we started surviving off of memories, even to the point of stealing others. This book offers a unique outlook on creation, co-creation, and recreation, and the foundation of a new Holistic Governance, that has the power to bring health and prosperity to everyone. It's not a revolution, it's simply re-formatting our governments so that every job description, policies and procedures, and rules and regulations, are based on one common law, love. Love based decisions will always create solutions that will benefit the Whole. If we have enough courage to accept each other, despite our differences, and tell the Illuminati, "no more games", we could have everyone healed and nature stored in less than a year. Please take heed and share with everyone you know, so together we can do what no one else has been able to do, resurrect humanity out of this nightmare of disease and destruction, and create a true Garden of Eden" for everyone, where we can all remember true perfect self, and return to the Centre, where the Creator is depending on our arrival.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is one of the best-attested facts of history. But believing in the resurrection is one thing. Knowing what it means is another. Although much has been written about the apologetics of the resurrection, little has been written about its theological meaning. This book reveals the hidden depths of the theological significance and ongoing relevance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ for our being, our salvation, Christian life, ethics, and our future hope.

The Christian understanding of the meaning of the death of Jesus Christ and its relationship to the salvation of sinful humanity is currently the subject of intense debate and criticism. In this volume Professor I. Howard Marshall discusses the nature of the human plight in relation to the judgment of God and then offers a nuanced defence of the doctrine of substitutionary death of Jesus Christ for sinners. Professor Marshall shows that the resurrection of Christ, and not simply his death, is an integral part of the process whereby sinners are put in the right with God. In the final chapter is argued that in our communication of the gospel today the New Testament concept of reconciliation may be the most comprehensive and apt expression of the lasting significance of the lasting significance of Christ--from back cover.

Our human consciousness and individuality -- and our potential for freedom of choice -- is possible because we have a physical body, separate from the spiritual realm. But for human beings to continue to develop, we need to reconnect to the divine world. The incarnation, death and resurrection of Christ is what makes this reconnection possible. This profound book, a collection of lectures by Christian Community priest Michael Kientzler, discusses this central mystery of Christianity. He explores the nature of resurrection, and how it ultimately leads to human redemption or salvation. This is a thoughtful, insightful book for those interested in spiritual and inner development.

Http://www.biblicalperspectives.com/books/immortality_resurrection/ What Christians believe about the make-up of their human nature largely determines what they believe about their ultimate destiny. Historically, most Christians have believed that human nature consists of a material, mortal body and a spiritual, immortal soul. This belief, known as dualism, is largely derived from Greek philosophers who regarded the body as temporary and evil but the soul as eternal and good. Dualism has led Christians to envision a destiny where immortal souls survive the death of the body and spend eternity either in the bliss of paradise or in the torment of a fiery hell. During the Middle Ages the belief in the afterlife was promoted through literary and artistic representations of hell as a place of absolute terror where the damned writhe and scream forever, and of paradise as a beatific place where the saints bask in eternal glory. Today, the belief in conscious existence after death is propagated through the polished image of mediums and psychics, the sophisticated "scientific" research into near-death experiences, and the popular New Age channeling with the alleged spirits of the past. These various methods are very successful in making people believe Satan's lie that no matter what they do, they "shall not die" (Gen 3:4) but become like gods by living for ever. The outcome is that according to a recent Gallup Poll 71 per cent of Americans believe in some forms of conscious life after death. In recent years the traditional dualistic view of human nature and destiny has come under massive attack by Biblical scholars, philosophers, and scientists who find such a view contrary to Scripture, reason, and science. In Immortality or Resurrection? Dr. Samuele Bacchiocchi builds upon recent research and challenges Christians to recover the Biblical wholistic teaching that the body and soul are an indissoluble unit, created, redeemed, and ultimately restored by God. Immortality or Resurrection? is a most important book for today. With compelling Biblical reasoning, it unmasks the oldest and possibly the greatest deception of all time, namely, that human beings possess immortal souls that live on forever. It will help you understand how this deceptive teaching of innate immortality has fostered a whole spectrum of erroneous beliefs that have affected adversely Christian thought and practice. Most important of all, this book will increase your appreciation for God's glorious plan for your present life and future destiny.

Christian tradition has largely held three theological affirmations on the resurrection of the physical body. Firstly, that bodily resurrection is not a superfluous hope of afterlife. Secondly, there is immediate post-mortem existence in Paradise. Finally, there is numerical identity between pre-mortem and post-resurrection human beings. The same tradition also largely adheres to a robust doctrine of The Intermediate State, a paradisiacal disembodied state of existence following the biological death of a human being. This book argues that these positions are in fact internally inconsistent, and so a new theological model for life after death is required. The opening arguments of the book aim to show that The Intermediate State actually undermines the necessity of bodily resurrection. Additionally, substance dualism, a principle The Intermediate State requires, is shown to be equally untenable in this context. In response to this, the metaphysics of the afterlife in Christian theology is re-evaluated, and after investigating physicalist and constitutionist replacements for substance dualist metaphysics, a new theory called "Eschatological Presentism" is put forward. This model combines a broadly Thomistic hylemorphic metaphysics with a novel theory of Time. This is an innovative examination of the doctrine of life after death. It will, therefore, be of great interest to scholars of analytic theology and philosophy of religion.
