Excerpt from The Normal Herald, Vol. 37: November, 1921 And last but not least, our loyal classmates of Indiana town, Belle Watson, (mrs. Church), Genevieve Morrison, (mrs. Stewart), Jessie Fleming and Dr. Neal were here, always at hand and splendid in helping and in entertaining. The class, together with their Normal hostesses were de lightfully entertained at Miss Fleming's, with Mrs. Church and Mrs. Stewart also as hostesses. Arthur Russell proved himself a good friend of the class by giving freely of his time and hospitality. There were several auto parties and special entertainments provided by our official hostesses, Miss Leonard, Mrs. Riddle and Miss Ackerman. One of the most enjoyable of these was a luncheon at the school which included all the downtown members and their families.
