Manna for Your Soul is a collection of teachings on various aspects of the believer's walk with God which will challenge your faith, cause you to examine your heart and inspire you to pursue a righteous lifestyle and give your all for the Lord and the establishment of His Kingdom. In these pages, the author sets forth with clarity the application of various truths in the Scriptures. As you read these studies, you will find yourself continually examining your heart to see how your attitudes and actions line up with the Word of God. This is not a book just to be read and then laid aside. Rather it is a treatise on Godly character and righteousness which you will find yourself resorting to over and over again to help keep you on the "path of the just... which shines more and more to the perfect day" (Proverbs 4:18). Alan Jay Binger is Jewish attorney who has been a believer in Jesus (Yeshua) as his Messiah since age 19, when he received Yeshua through the witness of two fellow students who were Jewish Believers at Pennsylvania State University. He currently resides in New Hempstead, New York, a suburb about 30 miles north of New York City. He has been married to his wife Abbye since 1975, and they have four children and one granddaughter. He has been an active member of Beth Am Messiah Congregation in New City, New York, since 1991. Aside from his law practice, Alan has been involved in an extensive prison ministry with inmates-several of whom are Jewish- in various states throughout the country. He and his wife have a passion to see their Jewish people come to know Yeshua as their Messiah and Savior.

A 365+ Day Biblical Devotional After 15 years of attending a Men's Bible study with my friends Wheeler and Paul, I decided to do an independent study of my own. I spend an hour each morning investigating real, tough, modern day biblical questions. After I get done, I try to distill the answers into a "Bible Minute" with a short introduction of the topic, a Bible verse or two or three and a short conclusion. I began posting these Bible Minutes on my Facebook page and before long I began to see true miracles. I heard stories of conversions, breakthroughs and restoration of relationships as a result of my studies. Make no mistake; I'm an average guy who just likes reading the Bible. I attended Bible College but after less than a year, I decided that my true calling was being a chiropractor so I'm no biblical scholar. I hope that my compiling the many studies I have done over the last few years and creating this book helps heal your soul, brings you closer to God, and allows you to grow a deeper relationship with Jesus. It is my prayer that this book provides the manna for your spirit, sets your soul free and becomes a true blessing in your life and in the lives of the people you gift this book to. In Health and Faith, Jay

"The world's fair beauty set my soul on fire." In this first study of the full range of Traherne's poetry Richard Willmott explains his 'metaphysical' poetry to all who are attracted by the beauty of his language, but puzzled by his meaning. He offers guidance both for the student of English, uncertain about Traherne's theological ideas, and the student of theology, put off by seventeenth-century poetic conventions and diction. Using a wealth of quotation, he examines Traherne's verse alongside that of a variety of his contemporaries, including Andrew Marvell, Lucy Hutchinson, Anne Bradstreet and Edward Taylor. Central to Traherne's poetry and generous theology is his delight in the capacity of his soul to approach God through an appreciation of His infinite creation. This soul is 'voluble', not only because it can express its thoughts with fluency, but also because it can enfold within itself the infinity of God's creation, taking in everything that it perceives, considering the latest scientific speculations about the atom and astronomy, but also looking clear-sightedly at Restoration society's materialism and - in one startlingly savage satire - the corruption of the royal court.
