Book II in the Series: Tools for the 21st Century Mason A Personal Handbook to carry with you through the Officer Chairs in your Masonic Lodge. Finally, a breakthrough handbook has arrived for Line Officers of Masonic Lodges to track their personal progress, year-by-year. Filled with specific information on each job, checklists, and rosters, this handbook has been designed to be written in as a comprehensive record of your service in each chair, from Junior Steward to Worshipful Master, as well as the non-progressive line offices. Each chapter covers a different office and has a section for you to record your observations on-the-job, which may be passed on to others who succeed after you. It serves as both a record of your personal memoirs, as well as a powerful operational and management tool for any Line Officer. No Lodge Officer should be without it. No longer can Lodges "shoot from the hip" administratively and operationally. Officers must know what to do BEFORE they take office and not six months into the job. Get a copy for each of your Lodge's Line Officers today! It is the ideal gift for someone who is currently serving in or desires to succeed through the various Floor Offices of their Masonic Lodge. If you are currently an officer of your Lodge, this book will provide you with insight into the inner workings of the Lodge and give you a winning jump on ”the know” for what is ahead. For Lodges, it provides a turn-key approach to developing a winning Leadership Team. THANK YOU for your business! A portion of your purchase will go toward improving Freemasonry through Charity, Brotherhood and Service to others!

This is an entirely different type of ritual guidance manual, aimed at assisting the officer tot understanding his existing ritual book more fully, and as an aid to learning. It is taken for granted that the Lodge will have adopted one of the standard working rituals, and that the Tyler will be equipped with a copy of the same ritual.

Freemasonry is the largest, oldest, and most influential secret society in the world. The Brill Handbook of Freemasonry is a pioneering work that brings together, for the first time, leading scholars on Freemasonry. The first section covers historical perspectives, such as the origins and early history of Freemasonry. The second deals with the relationship between Freemasonry and specific religious traditions such as the Catholic Church, Judaism, and Islam. In the third section, organisational themes, such as the use of rituals, are explored, while the fourth section deals with issues related to society and politics - women, blacks, colonialism, nationalism, and war. The fifth and final section is devoted to Freemasonry and culture, including music, literature, modern art, architecture and material culture.

The York Rite (sometimes referred to as the American Rite) is one of several Rites of Freemasonry. A Rite is a series of progressive degrees that are conferred by various Masonic organizations or bodies, each of which operates under the control of its own central authority. The York Rite specifically is a collection of separate Masonic Bodies and associated Degrees that would otherwise operate independently. The three primary bodies in the York Rite are the Chapter of Royal Arch Masons, Council of Royal & Select Masters or Council of Cryptic Masons, and the Commandery of Knights Templar, each of which are governed independently, but are all considered to be a part of the York Rite. Royal Arch Masonry is the first part of the York Rite system of the Masonic degrees. Royal Arch Masons meet as a Chapter, and the Royal Arch Chapter confers four degrees: Mark Master Mason, Past Master, Most Excellent Master, and Royal Arch Mason. This 1962 revised edition of A Handbook of Royal Arch Masonry: A Guide for Chapter Officers includes a detailed section on the ritual prescribed by The Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of the State of Wisconsin, and revised by their Ritual Committees (1959-1962), for Constituent Chapters working towards one of the four degrees.
