At Brenchley, in Kent, Mr. Monck ton offered to let to the committee about ten acres of land for a similar purpose; but at their suggestion, he has carried out the plan by means of a local committee. At Tooting, in Surrey, the Rev. B, W.' Greaves has appropriated, with the assistance of the society's agent, about two acres of glebe to twelve allotments; and at St. Peter's, in Kent, the Rev. J.
