This is the third issue of "The Journeys of the Sorcerer," a single-author magazine filled with fantasy, science fiction, and horror. In these pages, you will find repulsive demons, giant robots, alien bio-engineers, dark visions of the future, and much, much more. Curiosity and the Flesh - During one of his walks through the stairway of the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus in Braga, the veteran urban explorer Marco discovers a place that may have been waiting to be explored for centuries. However, what he finds is beyond even his worst nightmares. The Death of the Mall - Financial problems force a man to shop in one of the city's decrepit malls. He hadn't visited it since his youth, during the second decade of the 21st century, and he quickly realizes that much had changed since then. The Squad: Final Battle - After being forced to leave Earth, humanity made the planet Proxima Centauri b its new home. Only years later did they realize that it was already inhabited. To fight the aliens, they created the Squad: a group of men and women armed with the best training and weaponry available. This is the story of their final battle, and the first (or is it the last?) chapter of a saga told in reverse. The Knight's Choice: Chapters 6, 7, 8, and 9 - As more and more signs of demons emerge throughout the kingdom of Veltraik, Loran keeps fighting side by side with demon hunters to eradicate all forms of heresy against the Angels' Law.

After he escapes from the dungeon, Thor is horrified to learn of another assassination attempt on King MacGil. When MacGil dies, the kingdom is set into turmoil. As everyone vies for the throne, King’s Court is more rife than ever with its family dramas, power struggles, ambitions, jealousy, violence and betrayal. An heir must be chosen from among the children, and the ancient Dynasty Sword, the source of all their power, will have a chance to be wielded by someone new. But all this might be upended: the murder weapon is recovered, and the noose tightens on finding the assassin. Simultaneously, the MacGils face a new threat by the McClouds, who are set to attack again from within the Ring. Thor fights to win back Gwendolyn’s love, but there may not be time: he is told to pack up, to prepare with his brothers in arms for The Hundred, a hundred grueling days of hell that all Legion members must survive. The Legion will have to cross the Canyon, beyond the protection of the Ring, into the Wilds, and set sail across the Tartuvian Sea for the Isle of Mist, said to be patrolled by a dragon, for their initiation into manhood. Will they make it back? Will the Ring survive in their absence? And will Thor finally learn the secret of his destiny? With its sophisticated world-building and characterization, A MARCH OF KINGS is an epic tale of friends and lovers, of rivals and suitors, of knights and dragons, of intrigues and political machinations, of coming of age, of broken hearts, of deception, ambition and betrayal. It is a tale of honor and courage, of fate and destiny, of sorcery. It is a fantasy that brings us into a world we will never forget, and which will appeal to all ages and genders. It is 60,000 words. Book #3 in the series will be published soon.

Bengel's work on the New Testament is a valuable resource for modern students of the Scriptures. In 1734, he published a carefully prepared Greek text of the New Testament with an "Apparatus criticus," which formed the point of departure for modern New Testament textual criticism. His famous canon was: "The more difficult reading is to be preferred." This critical work was followed by an exegetical one, Gnomon Novi Testamenti (Tubingen, 1742). As a brief and suggestive commentary on the New Testament, the Gnomon is still of considerable use today. Bengel's chief principle of interpretation, briefly stated, is to read nothing into the Scriptures, but to draw everything from them, and suffer nothing to remain hidden that is really in them. His Gnomon exerted considerable influence on exegesis in Germany, and John Wesley translated most of its notes and incorporated them into his Annotatory Notes upon the New Testament (London, 1755). A. Hauck, Schaff-Herzog Encyclopedia of Religious Knowledge. This volume is 2 of a 5 volume set. Each volume is sold separately.
