Betty Riordan is a resident of Lee's Summit, Missouri, a suburb of Kansas City. She is a mother of three daughters, and a grandmother. Her passions are her family, planning Nana camp for her grandchildren each summer, reading, writing, entertaining, flower gardening, bird watching and traveling. Post-traumatic stress disorder is a psychiatric illness that can occur in anyone who has experienced a life-threatening or violent event.
