But, remember, I am the artist, and I put you in my painting for a reason.” When a mysterious stranger on Twitter summons Mitra, Siddhart, Priya, Radhika and Arvind to meet up at a ‘haunted’ location every Saturday night, they have no idea what they’re getting into or how drastically their lives are going to change. The promise of adventure drives the thrill-seekers to take up the challenge, but soon this paranormal quest starts to play with their psyche and things take several chilling turns. As the lines between reality and surreal blur, the five find themselves at the centre of a two-decade-old unsolved murder mystery of a young Carnatic singer and are plunged into the dark and sinister world of The Hauntup, from which there is no escape—unless they do exactly what the stranger asks!
