What readers are saying about The Grid Trilogy This book was simply amazing! I was immediately pulled into the story. The conflicts for each of the characters and how everything tied together was riveting! I reached the end of the book and was surprised- I hadn't realized that I had been close to the end. Paul Teague is just that good! Excellent story. Looking forward to reading more. This kept me hooked with the vivid imagery of the ruined city, and the oppression of the climbs. Can't wait to read the rest! I really enjoyed this book, it had everything I look for in a book, had me hooked on page 1. I just found this author and am so glad I did, I can't wait to read more from him Hooked from the get go. Imaginative and believable. Characters feel like your best friends. At least the good guys do! Loved this series. Very suspenseful and full of twists. A very fast paced read. [Note: This book has a cliffhanger ending and uses UK English]

"The process of investigation, analysis, and testing makes Architecture Research Office (ARO) as much a laboratory as a design firm. For Stephen Cassell, Adam Yarinsky, and their team, the starting point of each commission is not the development of an abstract "idea" for the project, but an intensive, hands-on occupation with a project's conditions, with its physical, economic, and social contexts. This practical approach to making architecture, to shrinking the distance between thinking and building, is much evident in their work, which manages to be simultaneously thoughtful and sensual." "The seven projects featured in this, the first monograph on the work of this firm, range from self-directed research (ARO's paper wall project), to private living spaces (the SoHo Loft), to commercial interiors (the Qiora Store and Spa), to the popular U.S. Armed Services Recruiting Station in Times Square, to the stunning Colorado House in Telluride. All of these projects challenge design conventions, while delighting the senses with their unusual materials, careful detailing, and unexpected spatial discoveries." This book presents the proceedings of the International Conference on Computer Networks, Big Data and IoT (ICCBI-2018), held on December 19–20, 2018 in Madurai, India. In recent years, advances in information and communication technologies [ICT] have collectively aimed to streamline the evolution of internet applications. In this context, increasing the ubiquity of emerging internet applications with an enhanced capability to communicate in a distributed environment has become a major need for existing networking models and applications. To achieve this, Internet of Things [IoT] models have been developed to facilitate a smart interconnection and information exchange among modern objects – which plays an essential role in every aspect of our lives. Due to their pervasive nature, computer networks and IoT can easily connect and engage effectively with their network users. This vast network continuously generates data from heterogeneous devices, creating a need to utilize big data, which provides new and unprecedented opportunities to process these huge volumes of data. This International Conference on Computer Networks, Big Data, and Internet of Things [ICCBI] brings together state-of-the-art research work, which briefly describes advanced IoT applications in the era of big data. As such, it offers valuable insights for researchers and scientists involved in developing next-generation, big-data-driven IoT applications to address the real-world challenges in building a smartly connected environment.

The Topside Ionosphere Plasma Monitor (SSIE) is an operational system flown on the Block 5D F2 DMSP Satellite for transmission of continuous data on the state of the topside ionosphere. The instrument consists of separate electron and ion sensors mounted on a 2.5-ft boom deployed after spacecraft attitude has been stabilized in orbit. This report describes the two sensors, associated electronics, and their operational timelines. The theoretical basis is given for the measurement of a number of plasma parameters: electron temperature and density, ion density, average ion temperature and mean ion mass (for one or two ion species), spacecraft potential, and plasma scale height.
