In the previous story(Who Holds the Power), Ivan Thompson, a resourceful working middle class youngster was not by far the underdog's underdog. Having discarded his whipping boy status, Ivan invoked war upon his opposition head on against everyone who has mocked, ridiculed, and of course bullied him. Especially when provoked. As a result dozens of egos were destroyed outright. In the North Lawndale neighborhood on Chicago's west side where he lives, many who have known Ivan for most of his life if not all both friend and foe alike soon developed a newfound respect. However, despite most of his struggles and ordeals which eventually gave way to an increasing number of victories, there are yet still other challenges. Among them is a very formidable adversary who has been closely and carefully watching Ivan's every move. Will Ivan succeed and continue to triumph or will he face a humiliating defeat.
