This is a story about a young Eskimo boy going on his first hunt with the two men he admires most, his father and his uncle. His father, a shaman who has a lot of wisdom and magic. His uncle a great hunter of the village. While on the journey they fight the freezing blizzards. They encounter the wild and mystical animals that help them on the way. His uncle gave him a special amulet to wear, little does Ituke know how special the amulet was until he comes face to face with the biggest creature there was. Along with the magic of the special amulet, they have the best and the bravest team dogs. This is a story of fantasy/adventure. This is a story of family tradition and love. Where the tribe of the village is depending on them for a safe return. Because without them the village would parish. When at last Ituke will have a story to tell of his special amulet that will protect him on his next hunt.
