Just as the commercial market is full of lofty promises and glossed over particulars, so it is with the marketplace of ideas. Too often the church itself resorts to catchphrases and slogans, to elementary truths over spiritually mature ones, to rhetoric over reason, and concise responses instead of complete answers. The danger of this is that the church may become nothing more than a peddler of platitudes and its followers may become disillusioned. This book aims to help uncover the real deal behind common Christian bywords, and the real truth underlining prevalent Christian truisms, in the hope that we might know God better, and discover the richness and fullness that is in Christianity.

Groundbreaking author Brian McLaren, voice of the Christian emergent movement and author of the 'New Kind of Christian' series, poses ten controversial questions that could lead to a radical redefinition of the Christian faith. What is the overarching storyline of the Bible? What is the Gospel? Why is sexuality such a divisive issue among Christians? How should followers of Jesus relate to people of other religions? McLaren gives his own responses to these questions, inviting the reader to a new and generous way of thinking about Christianity.

It is little wonder that many denounce believers in Jesus as hypocritical. Even within the Christian community itself, there exists a potpourri of conflicting definitions as well as comfortable traditions. In today's world, claiming Christianity is not a guarantee that one is Christian. InClaiming Christ in the 21st Century, author Kevin Graham would like to invite you back to biblical foundations to see what God records about true followers of Jesus. Genuine identity is confirmed by the fruitful evidence of Jesus living throughout a person. Come verify your own claims and bask in freedom from common religious scarecrows. By the grace of God,Claiming Christ in the 21st Century: Finding Identity in the Fine Printwill erase any vestige of spiritual uncertainty in how the Word of God applies to you today. Filter out the stigmatism of what Bonhoeffer denounced as 'cheap grace' and step into the light of what Scripture confirms as the meaning of Christians dwelling in him.

My autobiography is my testimonies of the pain that I endured as a child to an adult. I stand behind God with courage and boldness to witness that if he can heal my years of pain entirely; I know he can do it for you. But you have to forgive those whom abuse you physically or mentally if you desire to be happy. In order for God to use me effectively I must speak the untold that I encountered to help someone else that has been wounded. I no longer keep the silence of pain, I cry out to the Mighty One who is able to HEAR, HEAL, AND SET FREE!

If I had to summarize my book, A Guide for the Baby Christian, I would describe it as a series of short stories that are Christian-inspired that are accompanied by the first two books of the Bible, written in my personal style. What my book isn't is a replacement for the Bible. While fame and fortune are important, my primary goal for this book is not to make money but rather to make people curious about the Bible. If one person reads this book and feels a need to pursue the gospel of Jesus Christ, I would consider my book a success. Praise the Lord!
