Abstract: A total of 21 papers are presented by experts on current food politics, issues, and policy for food administrators, agricultural lawyers and decision-makers in the food production and supply areas. Major emphasis is placed on agricultural policy changes relative to US political institutions (11 papers) and on new agency issues (10 papers). Discussion topics under agricultural policy changes include: food pricing policy, the 1977 farm bill, politics of the agricultural research establishment, commodities exchanges, and consumer organizations.
