The Dating Game Uncensored chronicles dating in a free society. In other words, if you are raised in a society where marriages are strictly prearranged as the norm, then there's really no need to read a book on dating. The goals are to provide an interactive dating guide for all ages--for parents/guardians/adults to be aware of who their kids interact with and where and how and persuade everyone to do their own research and background checks (as deemed necessary). The objectives are to provide an easy-to-read guide for readers looking to acquire more knowledge on dating, to identify and analyze personality traits and characteristics, to acquire dating skills, to develop effective and safe dating strategies, to identify red flags and avoid dangerous situations, to learn from (or share) others' experiences by patronizing the following question-answer email: [email protected], and how to find a date: socialize! The methodology for this book involved gathering information from informal and unstructured interviews with several individuals from different backgrounds and careers, namely school teachers, pediatricians, single people, married people, and divorcees, to name a few. Considerable internet research was done also. Perspectives are based on views and insights from family background, upbringing, early childhood education and socialization, social and neighborhood environment, human psychology, personal experiences, education, income, and social class and status. Over thirty type of daters are listed by definition, ranging from smart daters, to dumb, to serial killers, to haters, and to one-night standers. Pick your poison (if you rush in blindly). Many scenarios are discussed: dating during a pandemic, youth dating, dating for seniors, the power of love, training your children (bending the tree while it's young), dating in the city where everyone can see you vs. dating in a remote rural area, online dating vs. in-person, and blind dating vs. wing dating. There are lots more. Some hot-button issues are examined too. For example, at what age is it okay to start dating? Should dating be part of the school's curriculum? Should families teach their kids how to date? What are the two-to-five-year rule vs. the three-to-six-month rule? Do you believe in the zodiac (compatibility) signs? How do you approach someone for a date? Do pickup lines work? There is no "one size fits all approach." Hint: ask open-ended questions that can't yield simple yes or no answers. Pique someone's interest by trying to find out what they are interested in. The list goes on and on. Be my guest. Practice safe dating. How to look for red flags and which ones to look for are of paramount importance. There can be lots on intrigue and drama in dating. We live in a complex and diverse world that has dangerous people. Bad people. This book identifies numerous personality traits and types. Ask your romantic interest or date about their (life's) timeline. For instance, do "missing" years in their life story mean they might have been incarcerated? You just never know. Daters, beware! Take time to read this book. There's lots more. Did I mention a part 2? Stay tuned.

In Jett’s memory, Cassie Everson is the unreachable girl-of-legend from their high school days. Nervously, he messages her, setting off a chain of events that forces a reluctant Cassie back into the dating game. No one is more surprised than Cassie when her first date with Jett is a knockout—but when Cassie finds herself caring for three sisters in an emergency foster placement, she decides to hide them from Jett to avoid scaring him off. When Jett’s sister’s addiction issues land her three children at his home, he decides the last thing Cassie needs to know about is his family drama. Neither dares to tell the other about their unexpected and possibly permanent family members for fear of scaring away their potential soulmate, especially since they both listed "no kids” on their profiles! The Jesus I Know

The Jesus I Know
Author: Kathie Lee Gifford
Publisher: Thomas Nelson
Total Pages: 225
Release: 2021-11-30
Genre: Religion
ISBN: 0785255052

New York Times bestselling author Kathie Lee Gifford reveals heartwarming, entertaining conversations between people and personalities who both agree and disagree about who Jesus is, his role throughout history, and his presence in our lives today. For decades Kathie Lee has had deep conversations about her faith with anyone who is interested in talking about it. What she discovered early on is most people are very willing to talk about Jesus: atheists, agnostics, Scientologists, Jews, broken-hearted Catholics, confused Baptists, Pentecostals, Sikhs, Buddhists, and Hindus alike. While some of the people Kathie Lee has spoken with do not share her belief that Jesus is the Messiah—as prophesied for centuries by prophets in the Hebrew scriptures—they nonetheless have a universal fascination with Him. This singular man who lived more than two thousand years ago, and never traveled more than one hundred miles from where He was born, managed to change the entire world. Even the way we delineate history (BC/AD) comes from His short thirty-three years of life. In The Jesus I Know, Kathie Lee shares cherished conversations that she’s had with others who find Jesus to be an ancient historical figure who somehow continues to be an undeniably magnetic, relevant presence in the modern world. Those conversations include actors like Kristin Chenoweth and Cynthia Garrett, with stories of Craig Ferguson and Kevin Costner, newsmakers and news personalities like Kris Jenner, Megyn Kelly, Jason Kennedy, and Janice Dean, performers like Chynna Phillips Baldwin, Brian Welch, Jimmie Allen, and Jimmy Wayne, hitmakers like Louis York and David Pomeranz, as well as those coming from other faith traditions. Using Kathie Lee’s favorite Scripture passages as scaffolding, these thought-provoking exchanges will bring His teachings to life before your very eyes.

Silver lining: meeting new people should be fun, right? But running into her old rival, George, at her first dating event is decidedly not. Not only does the arrogant know-it-all, who goes by Geo, have zero trouble attracting women, wherever Penny goes, somehow he just. Keeps. Showing. Up. Geo knows he’s right on the cusp of writing success with the chance to have his own syndicated column. All he has to do is follow his agent’s ideas for showcasing different dating avenues, and he’ll pull in enough to help his sister’s non-profit women’s shelter get off the ground. Sure, his itinerary is starting to look strangely similar to his old rival Penny’s, but all’s fair in love and syndication, right? The more they look for love in all the wrong places, though, the more they start to wonder if it was right in front of their noses all along. Still, the brutal dating scene just might end them, if these two don’t kill each other first.

“What would happen if Harry met Sally in the age of Tinder and Snapchat? . . . A field guide to Millennial dating in New York City” (New York Daily News). When New York–based graphic designers and long-time friends Timothy Goodman and Jessica Walsh found themselves single at the same time, they decided to try an experiment. The old adage says that it takes forty days to change a habit—could the same be said for love? So they agreed to date each other for forty days, record their experiences in questionnaires, photographs, videos, texts, and artworks, and post the material on a website they would create for this purpose. What began as a small experiment between two friends became an Internet sensation, drawing five million unique (and obsessed) visitors from around the globe to their site and their story. 40 Days of Dating: An Experiment is a beautifully designed, expanded look at the experiment and the results, including a great deal of material that never made it onto the site, such as who they were as friends and individuals before the forty days and who they have become since.
