(The Collapse Omnibus contains Parts 1 to 5.) Part One: Beginning Amy and Justin sit down to eat breakfast on a Monday morning when they hear radio reports of a massacre at a nearby mall. Their concern turns to horror once they turn on the news and see a live coverage of people eating dead bodies. When the chaos spreads to their street, they and a few neighbors barricade themselves in Justin's apartment. They are trapped inside, tempers are rising, and food is running out. To survive, they must venture outside. But not all will make it. Part Two: Lost Separated from Garrett, Amy and her friends must now venture out into the highway and make their way to the farm. The trip shouldn't take longer than a day. It should be fairly easy. Except they run into cannibalistic Runners along the way. Lost, they wander down unfamiliar roads. Little do they know that, at the end of the path, they will find themselves stranded at the worst place they could possibly imagine. Part Three: Infected Amy and her friends seek refuge at Green Hill Clinic, an abandoned asylum that once housed wealthy mental patients. The relative isolation of the place gives them some freedom and time to plan what they will do next. Unfortunately for them, plans don't always turn out the way they should. Part Four: Parting After losing one of their own, Amy and her friends are desperate to leave Green Hill Clinic. They have to get to the farm if they are to survive. But the infection is now among them. And not all will make that final journey. Part Five: The Agent The Agent was given a single task – wait for a phone call. He knew it would be the most important call he would ever receive. And he was willing to wait days, weeks – even years – to hear that one line: "Comrade. It is time." Because it would be a phone call that would change everything.
