The Claret Pals are just an ordinary group of Burnley FC supporters who meet up at a pub before every away fixture to eat, drink and sing raucous football songs. However, a series of sickeningly gruesome murders begins occurring close to the pubs they’re meeting in, and the killer is leaving clues seemingly trying to frame the group. With the evidence piling up, the police begin looking closely at The Claret Pals, assuming that the killer must be one of them. Members of the group decide to take matters into their own hands. With time running out, they desperately begin piecing together a puzzle that becomes more complicated. They need to act swiftly because, unknown to them, the killer has shifted their sights, and The Claret Pals are in the centre of the crosshairs. Will they solve the puzzle and prevent the killer striking against them? Or is it already too late?

Two or three of them came over and asked what team I was ...they followed me at a distance and when I looked across the platform I saw the other lads from the train getting a good kicking. I felt uneasy and was obviously next on their list for a hiding. I could not bottle it. I had to front it and act as normal as possible...You don't choose West Ham - it chooses you. Following West Ham United is not about how many pieces of silverware the team can win. For true fans, it's a lifelong, sometimes agonising passion. In 1964, when footballing legend Bobby Moore held the FA cup aloft for West Ham, Micky Smith was in the crowd, experiencing the unique thrill of seeing his club emerge victorious. In 1967, when Manchester United came to the East End, Micky witnessed the birth of the football hooligan. This is the gripping, inside account of run-ins with the police, rivalry between firms and events such as Heysel that changed the face of football as we know it today. In this unique memoir, the co-author of the bestselling Want Some Aggro? recalls tales from his life as a Hammers fan and draws on the experiences of other dedicated fans to produce a unique memoir recalling the violent days when the notorious InterCity Firm ruled the terraces

Colin Fisher is long-divorced with two grown-up children and an ageing mother in care. He is not getting any younger. Perhaps it is time to get married again. There are hordes of mature, nubile, attractive, solvent (hopefully) women out there, and marriage would provide regular sex and companionship, and someone to take care of the tedious domestic details that can make a man late for his golf and tennis matches. All Colin needs to do is smarten up a bit, get out more and select the lucky woman from amongst the numerous postulants. What could be easier? Benny Leonard was arguably the greatest lightweight champion of all time. With superb boxing skills and potent punching power, he fought over 200 times and suffered just five defeats. He spent his boyhood in a crime-ridden ghetto in Manhattan's Lower East Side, and was the greatest of a long line of Jewish boxers to emerge from the slums. Leonard was still only 19 when he knocked out Freddie Welsh to become world lightweight king in 1917. He defended the title eight times and retired as undefeated champion in 1925, to please the only woman he loved, his mother. But the 1929 Wall Street Crash wiped out his fortune and he was forced to make a comeback at 35. Leonard fought the best of his era: Johnny Dundee, Johnny Kilbane, Rocky Kansas, Jack Britton, Ted Kid Lewis and Lew Tendler among them. Apart from being a sublime boxer, Benny was a first-class showman who helped to put boxing on a higher plane. He died as he lived - in the ring - while refereeing a fight at age 51. This is the definitive account of his remarkable life and career.
