Family history and genealogical information about the anestors and descendants of Raymond Rosten Barr and Mary Eva Hoge. Raymond was born 16 October 1887 in Richland Co., Ohio. He was a descendant of Richard Barr (born ca. 1772 in Maryland) and Hester Dunlap who was born 4 February 1776. Mary was born 6 October 1887 in Illinois. She was a descendant of William Hoge (born ca. 1660) and Barbara Hume (born ca. 1670). They both immigrated to America from Scotland and settled in New Jersey. Raymond Barr married Mary Hoge 28 November 1912. They lived in Illinois and were the parents of three children. Ancestors lived in Scotland, Maryland and New Jersey. Descendants lived primarily in Illinois.
