Employing a practical, mathematical approach, author Kenneth Coombs presents a scientific and comprehensive analysis of the twenty-two Tarot cards in the Major Arcana. This detailed examination deciphers the reactions and interactions of the Tarot cards with each other, rather than simply the individual meanings of each card. He shares the results of the 231 possible combinations. In Tarot Alchemy, Coombs, a chemist with more than thirty years of Tarot card reading experience, discusses a novel approach to understanding Tarot. He details the process of alchemy, which involves looking at each Tarot card as an element. The interactions of the Tarot cards are like reactions that create molecules, and it is the interactions of the Tarot cards with each other that give depth and enlightenment in a Tarot reading. This process has given him the ability to determine specific timeframes and even names of people and places using the cards. His approach of deciphering the interactions in a scientific way leads to new insights about the meanings of the Tarot cards in a reading. Tarot Alchemy shows how learning to find patterns in the cards strengthens intuitive abilities and unlocks the doors to understanding the Tarot cards.

Kevin Connolly was born in Helena, Montana in August of 1985. Born without legs, Kevin was otherwise a healthy baby and grew up like any other Montana kid; getting dirty, running in the woods, and getting dirty some more. In the way developments tend to snowball, Kevin began skateboarding and taking photographs for the first time in 2005. His first taste of living abroad came in 2006 when he left to study in New Zealand for one year. It was on the return home - skating down a backstreet in Vienna - that Kevin took his first prototype photo for what was to become The Rolling Exhibition. Kevin currently lives in Bozeman, Montana as a photographer and professional skier. For more information on Kevin's other endeavors, please navigate to www.kevinmichael connolly.com

The images on the Marseille Tarot cards started out as illustrations of Sumero-Bablyonian myths, preserved through the centuries on cylinder seals. They were copied by people who didn't understand them but who also had access to some form, whether written or oral, of the wisdom encoded in those myths and in Bible stories. That wisdom is identical with Sufi teachings as espoused by teachers like Ibn al 'Arabi, Rumi, and others, including Gurdjieff and his teachings about the enneagram. The myths and stories are decoded in this book using the multiple meanings conveyed by Arabic consonantal word roots and by reference to those doctrines and to modern discoveries about conditioning and the hemispheric specialization of the brain. Arabic is the closest existing descendant of the ancient Protosemitic language. The Kabbalah, long rumoured to be linked to the Tarot, is shown to come from the same sources, and originally had eight, not ten, sefiroth. The visual evidence alone is overwhelming: the mystery of where the Tarot comes from has been definitively solved.
