C., April 12, 1922 The major portion of the time was given to the schools of the city, but enough of the rural schools were visited and enough tests given to form a good idea of the work of these schools. The aim of the report is to describe the condition of the schools and to point out what should be done to improve the educational system of the parish. It is not suggested that all the recommendations be adopted at once, but certain things should be done right now. The one outstanding problem is the build ing problem, which should receive the immediate attention of the school board and of the people of the city of Shreveport.
