Information is given on each of the secondary manufacturing industry sectors, the types of companies involved and the raw material consumed, and the level of activity of the sector. The results of market studies in Toronto and the United States Midwest are summarized with a commentary on the potential for Alberta manufacturers. A list of manufacturers contacted is included, with name and address of company, the nature of its business, and its size.
