His conduct of International Symposium on the need for GLP in India organized when he was Director, Jai Research Foundation in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology and Plant Protection Advisor to the Government of India in March 1998 paved the way for formation of National GLP Compliance Monitoring Authority (NGCMA) in India.
