This book interrogates the politics of sexual and reproductive rights from a transnational feminist perspective. Taking an intersectional and interdisciplinary approach, the book provides the reader with a nuanced and in depth understanding of the role that forces of globalization have played in women's sexual and reproductive lives in the 21st century. The book begins with an examination of the significance of transnational women's health movement(s) as a response to the convergence of social, political, and economic forces unique to the current globalized era. Subsequent chapters examine these forces as they play out in socially and geographically specific locations.
