A memorial sermon in honor of Rev. Samuel Stearns (1770-1834) of Bedford, Massachusetts. He was a direct descendant of John Stearns (d.1665), the probable immigrant from England to Watertown, Massa- chusetts who later moved to Billerica, Massachusetts. Samuel's parents were Josiah Stearns and his second wife, a Miss Ruggles, daughter of Samuel Ruggles of Billerica. Includes a brief biograpphy of the Rev. Samuel Stearns, as well as some family history and genealogical data.
