Document is the Land Use Plan for the Big Sur Coast segment of Monterey County's Local Coastal Program and provides development standards to the actions of all California state and local agencies. The area is over 70 miles in length and stretches from Carmel on the north, south to San Luis Obispo County Line (near San Simeon). Plan includes sections on scenic view protection, environmentally sensitive habitats, water, forest and agricultural resource management along with proposed land uses and development.
