Globalisation has reshaped the face of the world, turning the society in which we live into a multicultural one. In such a new world, there is a strong need to master the culture-specific vocabulary in the languages we speak. This book will mainly appeal to translators, interpreters, students, and other professionals that work in the cultural field or in any other field in which intercultural communication plays an essential role, and in which the communication languages are English and Romanian.
