USA Today bestselling author Stacey Kennedy is back with the thrilling and emotional conclusion of the Dirty Hacker duet about a hacker who doesn’t back down on a case, a sexy CIA agent who is more than a little overprotective, and two slightly reluctant but perfectly matched hearts. Tracking a killer is the last thing hacker Alex McCoy expected out of her vacation to New York, but after rekindling her one-time romance with sexy CIA Agent Rowan Hawke, she can’t refuse his request for help. Waiting for a break in the case proves to be more challenging than Alex expected, especially because it gives her too much time to think about her growing feelings for Rowan. Feelings she would much rather write off as the intensely hot chemistry between them. Rowan knows that Alex has a lot of emotional baggage, but every day as they work together, he becomes more certain she’s the woman for him. Unfortunately, Rowan’s instinct to protect her is put to the test when secrets come to light and Alex throws herself in the line of fire to help Rowan solve the case. As Rowan falls deeper for Alex, he must open up about his past and give her the chance to prove that she’s the right partner—in work and in life. Alex and Rowan are up against a powerful perpetrator, with only their courage and their love for each other to help them through. But Alex’s choice to run head-first into danger might be the one thing that breaks them apart…permanently.

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Aurora Rose Reynolds comes a bittersweet romance about the risks and rewards of falling in love. Everly never expected to move back in with her parents, and she definitely didn't expect to do so as a single mother. But with the father of her son suddenly out of the picture, she's had to make some adjustments to her plans. Now Everly has one priority: to make a life for herself and her boy. And Blake, her sometimes infuriating but admittedly handsome employer at Live Life Adventures, doesn't factor into her future as anything more than her boss. But it seems the guy who's about as friendly as a grizzly bear has a soft spot for her and her son...and the more time she spends with him, the more difficult it is to remember why giving in to the chemistry between them is a bad idea. Now, with their future on the line, they'll have to decide if love is a risk worth taking.

A quiet yet powerful revolution is going on. All over this country and across the world creativity-in the form of visual arts, music, dance, drama, and technology-is providing an emotionally expressive vehicle for communicating truth, developing character, and crossing cultural boundaries to build the kingdom of God. J. Nathan Corbitt and Vivian Nix-Early visited numerous artists, faith communities, and arts organizations to discover and document how the arts are being used to transform people and communities, especially in urban settings. The result is this extensive handbook that combines real-life stories with tested methodologies to create a new paradigm for the role of the arts in Christian ministry and mission. Taking It to the Streets provides church and mission leaders, youth ministers, and students with a historical perspective and theology for understanding the transforming power of the arts, a vocabulary for discussing them outside the sanctuary, and creative methods for bringing faith to action in the streets of society.

With captivating transparency, For Love’s Sake is a wide-open stare into one woman’s fascinating trek with the poor, a brutal attack and threat on her life, and her honest reflections of the good, the bad, and the ugly underside of a life laid down for love.

What would you do if you knew your time was short? Pink Lips and Fingertips answers this question through the life of Jeri Ivison Paholek, who was born with a rare heart defect called common ventricle and given a death sentence by the medical community. Instead of retreating inward and playing it safe to extend her years or embarking on extravagant global adventures, Jeri chose to impact the world for Christ-whether by corresponding with convicted bomber Timothy McVeigh on death row or starting a prayer stand immediately after the 9/11 attacks. Her indomitable spirit in the face of death will inspire and captivate. You will not approach life the same way after reading this book. "Rick Weber has always searched for greater understanding of his subjects and the obstacles they face. Finding solace and inspiration in their tales goes beyond merely the details of his career, but permeates who Rick is on a personal level. It's again obvious in his best work to date, Pink Lips and Fingertips. Jeri's story isn't just for those of faith, but for those who simply need to understand the will to survive and thrive in the face of life-threatening challenge." -Jason Cole, Yahoo! "This is an inspiring story that recognizes all heroes don't march in parades or speak before crowds. Jeri is petite and literally suffers from a broken heart. But she refuses to disconnect from God, who authors a supernatural miracle activated by love, courage and faith." -Armando Salguero, Miami Herald RICK WEBER graduated from Penn State with a B.A. in journalism. He has won the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism, been honored twice by the Associated Press Sports Editors and contributed to Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Golf Book. In the Hidden Scars Collection, the Poet uses Covid19 quarantine moments to recollect his mind on his life’s inspirational philosophy on Love and Loss, Suffering and Success, Politics and Power, Choices and Chances, Pain and Passion, and Life and Death. In March 2020, Governmant of Uganda announced a national Lockdown in response to the global Covid19 Pandemic. The Lockdown was accompanied by a global stay home, stay safe campaign which lead the poet to a life in solitude reading and writing at home. The sad moments of solitude inspired the Writer to draft, write and compile inspirational poems from reflections in his life and pened his first poem on Covid19 which he published on Facebook and eventually in the book Musings During a Time of Pandemic: A World Anthology of Poems on COVID-2019 titled Quarantine in Gulu edited and compiled by Dr. Christopher Okemwa. Finding his poetic voice, the poet penned more than 50 poems in 12 months as he clocked the magical age of 40 in May 2020 by spending most of his troubled unemployed life and love life, midlife crisis reflecting on Love and Loss, and Suffering and Success. Previously in 2016, the Poet had unsuccessfully campaigned for the elective political office of Mayor of Gulu Municipality (now City). The year 2020/2021 was also a national election year, and the poet had to decide either to run again or drop politics. Since he dropped politics and chose a private life to a public life; he also spent most of his private life in solitude reading, researching and writing on the themes like politics and power, Choices and Chances. After surviving contracting Covid19 numerous times after friends within his social connections contracted Covid19 infection; the poet in his writings reflects more on Faith and Fear, and Life and Death. The Poet as a motivational speaker and scholar has always treasured sharing his life’s miseries and opportunities in a way that inspires others who could find healing and meaning from his past experiences. He uses his poetic voice as a mirror of the conscience of those whose life paths are similar to his life’s experiences. Hence, he reflects and writes more on Suffering and Success. The purpose of this poetic compilation is to share his life’s inspirational philosophy by offering a voice to those whose voices are barely heard and to contribute to the already chanting voices on similar themes of life. While these are the poets philosophical life reflections that defined his life story; it is in no way a gospel truth on how to live life but one other tried and tasted alternative philosophy of life that could inspire your life to love, success and power.

A groundbreaking look at the teenage brain for anyone who has puzzled over the mysterious and often infuriating behavior of a teenager. While many members of the scientific community have long held that the growing pains of adolescence are primarily psychological, Barbara Strauch highlights the physical nature of the transformation, offering parents and educators a new perspective on erratic teenage behavior. Using plain language, Strauch draws upon the latest scientific discoveries to make the case that the changes the brain goes through during adolescence are as dramatic and crucial as those that take place in the first two years of life, and that teenagers are not entirely responsible for their sullen, rebellious, and moody ways. Featuring interviews with scientists, teenagers, parents, and teachers, The Primal Teen explores common challenges–why teens go from articulate and mature one day to morose and unreachable the next, why they engage in risky behavior–and offers practical strategies to help manage these formative and often difficult years.
