Train Track Rescue (TV Episode #208) Sixteen-year-old Joe Terry of Merced, California was sitting on his front porch when he noticed two small neighbor children playing on the nearby railroad tracks. Although hearing-impaired, Joe heard a faint train whistle. He reached the children and scooped them off the tracks only an instant before the train reached them, in a rescue so close that the train engineer stopped down the track to report that he'd hit several children! Also included in Vol 10: Up In Flames (TV Ep #203) Brothers Kris and Kelly Cheater of Stoughton, Saskatchewan (Canada) were marking a field for their father, who was flying a crop-dusting plane. To their horror, their father's small plane caught on a power line, flipped upside down and crashed -- then burst into flames. The two boys had to pull the burning plane apart with their bare hands to save their father. Hero Babysitter Twelve-year-old Katrina Attaman of Anaheim, California was playing outside when she heard the woman next door scream for help. She ran over to discover that her neighbor's two-year-old son -- a child for whom she often babysat -- was at the bottom of the swimming pool. Katrina used skills she'd learned in her Red Cross Babysitter's Course to administer artificial respiration until the baby started breathing again.
