The 1986 Nebraska Legislature created and passed the Erosion and Sediment Control Act. This report sets forth the comprehensive state erosion and sediment control program as directed by that Act. It is designed to guide state agencies, natural resources districts, cities, and counties in their efforts to reduce soil erosion. This program also augments the existing erosion and sediment control efforts of the federal, state, and local governments already in operation.
