All too often, mothers of children with special needs find themselves in the dark, facing struggles few people understand. But author Mattie Book reminds us that it was in the dark that God placed the stars. She encourages moms to run to God’s throne, see in high definition, climb to high altitudes, and walk on the waves that rage against them. Raising Special Stars offers empowerment for moms who have children with special needs. This sixteen-week Bible study addresses the loss, loneliness, and obstacles moms face when navigating through motherhood with kids that have unique challenges. Each week provides truth and insightful perspectives for those that find themselves on paths that they did not plan. Here mothers will find relatable experiences and shared struggles, as well as confidence and security in God’s promises. This is an invitation to see the stars shine from a different point of view and become fueled with purpose for the journey that was set apart for our children. If you are a woman raising children with special needs, Raising Special Stars can bring you hope and purpose on your journey that shines a little differently.

The first collection of literary writing on raising a child with special needs, Love You to Pieces features families coping with autism, deafness, muscular dystrophy, Down syndrome and more. Here, poets, memoirists, and fiction writers paint beautiful, wrenchingly honest portraits of caring for their children, laying bare the moments of rage, disappointment, and guilt that can color their relationships. Parent-child communication can be a challenge at the best of times, but in this collection we witness the struggles and triumphs of those who speak their own language-or don't speak at all-and those who love them deeply.

Star children are children who have been sent here from all areas of the universe to help the earth and the people on it. They possess psychic, spiritual, and other extra sensory abilities. These children will bring peace, topple corrupt systems, and shift dimensional consciousness in the years to come. They have come here on special assignment to assist in this rebirth into a higher dimensional Earth. Since the beginning of time, parents have wished their kids came with an owner's manual. Big changes are coming as this is a new world, a new energy grid, and the children of the stars, or Star children as we call them, have finally arrived to help save the earth with no owner's manual. This book is a guide to help parents understand their Star children and to help each parent spiritually understand what is happening with these gifted youngsters who are here to help us. Yes, your children can be your spiritual advisors and they are here to help us. They will try to teach us many lessons. Most we won't understand, some we won't even know are lessons. With the help of this guide, a few of us may catch on. Valuable for educators to become aware that they are dealing with an entirely new generation of children who do not think or behave like those who have gone before them. This book is also intended to help our younger or older Star children understand and not be afraid of what they are seeing or hearing that many others cannot see or hear. Topics: Indigo to Crystal to Rainbow Transitions; Environmental Stress and Your Star Child; The Importance of healthy Food; The Nine Dimensions of Consciousness; A Global Crisis: Help Is On the Way.

This third fascicle of Babylonian Planetary Omens contains the edition of all cuneiform texts dealing with the planet Venus known to us. Most of these tablets are kept in the British Museum; the large number of unpublished texts were transliterated and the previously published texts were checked and collated from the originals. The texts are accompanied by translations, and each group of texts is commented upon by David Pingree from the point of view of the text history and astronomical significance. A general introduction, also by David Pingree, analyzes the descriptions of Venus that occur in the texts in terms of astronomical phenomena. Indices are included to facilitate the study of this large corpus.
