This book is an introduction to gluten and lactose free yummy food. PJ’s food diary has some great recipes to cook GF and LF for the tribe and everyone will be happy. Covering entertaining to dessert for all to enjoy. The nudge for this book has come from the feedback cooking for beautiful women on a wellness retreat, Akashic wellness retreats at Camp Island. For the past 30 years or more I have had a passion for food and cooking. Cooking for many years, had my own little cafe and catering businesses amongst wearing many other hats. I have also suffered gut issues for many years, finally 3 years ago diagnosed with Crohn's disease. I have gone down the path of alternative medicine. If you have any sort of gut issues I highly recommend a food intolerance test and see a good naturopath. I always knew I was lactose intolerant… but I wasn’t aware of wheat, gluten, tomato and so forth. Dr. Rowena Kissun – Kissun clinics in the Whitsundays was absolutely amazing to me. Rowena took time and explained everything in terms I could understand and the importance of knowing what upsets your person. Its very overwhelming at first diagnoses… but there are some good products and produce out there now. With some help of easy and tasty recipes like these you will enjoy some simple delicious food like everyone else. As a single mother for many years and always had a house full of teenage boys. I am queen of making something from not much in the pantry… and then create another dinner out of leftovers if there were any. Gluten is really not good for any of us. Hopefully with this book you will NOT feel all bloated and need a nanna nap after a bowl of pasta! I love feeding people and I love it when people are enjoying gluten free and lactose free food. I hope you enjoy! Bon Appetit
