Among the scholars of these centuries, the contributions of Karl Marx, Ferdinand T©œnnies, ©9mile Durkheim, Ludwig Gumplovicz, Vilfredo Pareto, Max Weber, and Talcott Parsons are considered as pillars of sociology.
