"The Open space and recreation plan presents an inventory of all public, quasi-public, parochial, and private areas and facilities within Southern Mississippi Planning and Development District's eleven county planning jurisdiction. Established standards taken from the Mississippi outdoor recreation plan are adjusted to the present and future population of the region to determine the needs.
