This book discusses options for an improved compliance system under the Paris Climate Agreement by addressing current weaknesses. The most important climate agreement in history, the Paris Agreement on Climate Change represents the commitment of the nations of the world to address and curb climate change. The recently adopted global climate deal is expected to enter into force in 2020, at the end of the second commitment period of the Kyoto Protocol.
