The Smith and Smith Paranormal Investigation Agency has been investigating all sorts of paranormal entities and manifestations over the years but when Erica Smith buys her daughter; Carol Anne a bunny costume at a garage-sale, they find out that they got more than they bargained for as they have to investigate their first case of a haunted object; their daughter's bunny costume, where they trace it back to the owner of it having been killed while wearing it, out trick-or-treating several years earlier

The Smith 12 and their group Smashed to Smithereens are already quite famous and have a loyal following in the thousands if not millions by the summer of 2021 when their manager/agent; Rick Franklin, comes to them and their parents; Bill and Pamela Smith to set-up their latest concert-tour which will be a cross-country tour during the 2021 holiday season in which the duodecaplets will be performing songs; all the traditional Christmas songs in their own versions of said songs for their ravenous fan-base. The concert goes swimmingly and the duodecaplets make even more fans along the way as they go city-to-city on this tour, hoping to make it back home to New York in time for December 2

The Smith family is in search of what they have been led to believe is a community that has been able to shield itself from the "Zombie Apocalypse", allowing its residents a chance to get back to a normal life and for a time, the Smiths feel that they discovered a place where they can begin their lives anew until the night of Halloween 2026;the one-year anniversary of the commencement of the "Zombie Apocalypse", when they discover this "safe zone", isn't all that it's cracked-up to be as the facade has been broken and they must, once again, flee for their very lives.

Now that little Carol Anne Smith is going from a baby to a toddler, she is growing by leaps and bounds and with her abilities growing and being fine-tuned that also means that her sibling rivalry with her big brother; Andrew is also growing and reaching new heights, as Carol Anne learns to defend herself and fight back and give as good as she gets. It then, therefore, begs the question: Will there ever be hope for a sibling truce, before Carol Anne's second birthday in July 2016 or will both little siblings just keep on fighting as their rivalry escalates to new, dizzying height
