How do we heal our difficult relationships and nurture our healthy ones? What is their significance in our spiritual life? In this deeply moving, groundbreaking book, John E. Welshons answers these questions and many more. He shows why the path to real and lasting happiness lies in recognizing that we are all One, and in living in that awareness. He shows us how to heal our most difficult relationships by transforming them into our greatest spiritual lessons and how to love, forgive, and care for our fellow human beings — even those we find most difficult to love and forgive. With compassion and wisdom, Welshons invites us into a revolutionary new understanding of ourselves, our spiritual life, our world, and all our relationships.

In our can't-stop world, where we frantically move through our days with hardly a moment of true rest and reflection, it's hard to comprehend the thought of being still, of leaving our anxiety and worry and impatience in the capable hands of a loving God. But that's exactly what Elisabeth Elliot calls us to do. Using the title of one of her favorite hymns as her unifying theme, Elliot offers an inspiring collection of reflections on living the Christian life. Illustrating biblical concepts with her rich personal experiences as a missionary, mother, wife, widow, radio host, and internationally known public speaker, Elliot writes with clarity and elegance on topics at once timeless and timely. This lovely new repackaged edition is perfect for the busy times in which we live.

The story of William Carey and his ministry in the Indian sub-continent in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries has been told and retold many times. It captured the imagination of untold numbers of evangelicals in his own day, sparked the formation of a host of missionary societies and generally initiated what has been termed the modern missionary movement. What is often forgotten, however, is that Carey did not set out alone, nor would his ministry or that of his colleagues in India have been possible without the faithful support over many years of a circle of friends back at home. As one of these men later recalled, when they contemplated the possibility of a mission to India they thought of it in terms of a gold-mine. Carey said that he was prepared to 'venture to go down' the mine to explore its possibilities but, he told his close friends, Andrew Fuller, John Sutcliff and John Ryland, they 'must hold the ropes'. This book is a tribute to that circle of loyal friends, who saw themselves as being so closely bound together that they were all 'of one heart and one soul', and in particular to one of them, John Sutcliff, the pastor of the church at Olney which originally set apart Carey for the ministry. As well as remaining a lifelong friend of Carey, he was one of the founders of the Baptist Missionary Society, one of the joint authors of the Prayer Call which initially led to the interest in overseas missions and a faithful pastor and teacher in whose home many candidates for the ministry, both at home or abroad, received valuable training for the work to which they were called. Michael Haykin is Principal of Toronto Baptist Seminary in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and aSenior Fellow of The Jonathan Edwards Centre for Reformed Spirituality. He also serves as Adjunct Professor of Church History at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky. He obtained his doctorate at the University of Toronto. He is the editor of Eusebeia: the Bulletin of the Jonathan Edwards Centre for Reformed Spirituality. He is married with two children.

Here I have written this book to show the world that to look at life in reality is logical. I have spoke about real life and what people go through and visualized in our everyday lives. Showing how fake people can be and how manipulative and deceptive evil people are in this world which can be disturbing. I did not write this book to offend anyone I wrote it to alarm everyone with the truth about the world we live in and the immorality that surrounds us. This book also explains that shame and disgrace is in the heart of those who do those things. Allowing you to know the punishment behind the ignorance some do. I also show that thoughts are not to be disgraceful to the soul but are to be expressed in a way of understanding. I have experienced these things I am sharing with you all and nothing is sugar coded as we say. I hope that all can read my thoughts with an open mind and not a criticizing way of thinking. The problem with the world today nobody wants to face or share the truth because they are to worried how people will react or feel. Me I'm the opposite I would rather tell a person what is in my soul than to allow them to think different of my prospective or perception. I feel that God has given me a gift to share what people do not see or acknowledge. I want to show people that it is ok to express how you feel in a respectful way not degrading yourself to get exposure. The truth as I found out will set your soul free of misdirected teachings with a life of being loved and understood. I hope all will understand my truth and allow my thoughts to be food to the soul. The words I have written are to give people a truthful look at what we live around such as the evil and immoral lifestyles in the world. Life is definitely not worth living disgraceful as the world does in this time. I hope you all enjoy my way of explaining real life situations and associations. Until the next time, it will only get better as the series continues. It is up to you to see what I have came to terms with. We all have the truth inside the question is do we pay attention or do we ignore it from the ignorance we foolishly follow. Life isn't worth falling into the devils quick sand. Follow the truth and walk as God planned and righteously you will stand.
