This final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) describes the transportation and environmental impacts associated with the construction and operation of a fixed guideway project to improve transit services in the North Corridor of the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, Texas (Metro) service area. The effects of the No Build and Build Alternatives are evaluated and compared across a range of subject areas related to both natural and man-made environments. These include transportation systems, land use, socioeconomic conditions, air quality, noise, vibration, usual, ecosystems, water resources, historic resources, archaeological resources, parklands, geology, hazardous/regulated materials, and safety and security.
