As one of her representatives, in the late Con gress, I sought occasion during the session that has Just closed, to reply to such aspersions on the floor of the House; but finding no suitable Opportunity, I ask that you will be kind enough to al low me to avail myself of the extensive circulation of the Sun, in stating the facts of the case.
