This epic journey is the only way to leave her secrets behind. After eleven years spent looking for the girl who stole his heart, Jean-Jacques Baptiste—better known as French to his friends—is tempted to give up. Until the day he spotted the flaxen-haired stranger traveling the wooded path with Blackfoot Indians. He never imagined he’d find his childhood friend masquerading as a man in this Rocky Mountain wilderness, hundreds of miles from the Canadian town where he last saw her. No matter her reasons, he can’t let her go this time. Colette Mignon’s life has become a cacophony of lies, including the fact that her Blackfoot Indian companions believe she’s a man. She’s willing to live the taxing life of a trapper in these desolate mountains as long as it keeps her secrets hidden. When her childhood friend and first love discovers her, his determination to help might put everything at risk. As the worst of her past threatens to catch up with her, the hope for Colette’s new life shatters. But no matter what, she must protect the one good thing that came from all her mistakes. Though French is determined to stay at her side, she can’t let him become entangled in the perilous consequences of her actions. If only it wasn’t so painful to push him away. The danger pressing in may leave her only one choice—leave everything behind…again. From a USA Today bestselling author comes another epic journey through breathless landscapes and adventure so intense, lives will never be the same.

Trent came to Idaho seeking solitude. He built a cabin, broke a few wild horses, and quietly put his past behind him. Then King Bill Hale began laying claim to all the land around Cedar Bluff. When Hale’s son kills one of Trent’s neighbors, Trent quickly steps forward to lead the fight. Their property had been legally filed on, but Bill Hale has the men, money, and political power to steal it from them. What Hale doesn’t realize is that Trent also has connections. With evidence that can ruin Hale’s scheme, Trent must find a way past Hale’s gang of thugs to the men who can help him. However, if Trent succeeds, his violent past will be revealed; if he fails, the others may forfeit their land. But Trent could forfeit his life.

Clever language and beautifully detailed maps of imaginary landscapes will delight children and adults alike. Ponti himself has said, "My stories are like fairytales, always situated in the marvelous, speaking to the interior life and emotions of children. That way each child can get what they want out of the images: the characters and dreams are their own."

At one point, while swimming through the forest to find high ground, I went under and drowned...saw my life pass before my eyes and the white light at the end of the tunnel. We are Spirit beings, human vessels with massive spiritual capacity, intrigued by the spiritual world. A human spirit has a soul and lives in a flesh body. The spiritual realm is another dimension which exists parallel to our physical world, where angels and demons exist. Discerning and recognising demon spirits is extremely important, as they take on various forms with ease, and deceive humans. They cause havoc on planet earth; they are the enemy; not other humans. Biblical principles enhance our insight and knowledge making our journey on earth a pleasant one as we travel through; shedding the earth suit eventually as a finale to live on in the spiritual realm, being transformed. Our choices made here decide our final destination i.e. heaven or hell, which are real and exist, whether we believe it or not. Discover yourself and the different aspects of your complexity, which is empowered by our heavenly Father. As a religious studies person I am of course deeply interested in individual stories of faith. The way in which medical knowledge informs your reflections is interesting to me (as a non-medic). This manuscript is an important expression of a life dedicated to Jesus with such integrity. Eleanor Nesbitt.

A few years ago my wife of 33 years was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was particularly aggressive and she has been gone for a few years now. These past few years have brought dramatic changes in my life; when this first happened it was the "why her", "why now", and I couldn't understand why He would do this! I then shunned Him and church; I was tempted by the bottle. He knew as well as I did, if I did jump in, I wasn't coming out, and did not take it up. Around this time words of a pastor friend sounded loud, "NOW is the easiest time to run from HIM, but the best time to run to HIM." I pray daily to do His will and to BE OBEDIENT. I started to write prayers to Him. I was never a writer, or even any good at writing. He has given me this to give to others. I found when I ran to him His arms were already open waiting for me! Listening to that small voice when you ask anything in prayer is important, it may not be what we want to hear, however His will and our obedience to it are important, and best for us. When I was asked to do this, the small voice said "this is for someone tonight"! All I want to do is His will, he knows the desires of my heart, and as I listed to that small voice I am assured He will show me them. On the 14th of November 1970 I was saved. As I say these things to you, I know I am a man of GOD and love Him. As I pray to do His will daily a calm has come into my life. I praise him for it. If any of these writings touch your heart, remember you are not alone, and he loves you as he has promised, Genesis 28:15, Joshua 1:5, Hebrews 13:5, Isaiah 48:10.
