These 288 multiplication flash cards are bound together in a book. One advantage of this is that none of the flash cards will get lost or misplaced, and you'll never have a mess of flash cards scattered throughout the house. You can take them with you anywhere, and they will always stay bound together in this book. Half of the flash cards – those appearing on the odd-numbered pages (5, 7, 9, etc.) – appear in order, while the other half – those appearing on the even-numbered pages (6, 8, 10, etc.) – are shuffled. The ordered flash cards are useful for memorizing one complete set of facts (such as the 7's) at a time. The shuffled flash cards are used to test your memory. There are 3 flashcards on each page. All 144 multiplication facts from 1 x 1 thru 12 x 12 are included twice (once ordered, once shuffled). They work like ordinary flash cards: You look at the 3 problems on one page, and find the answers on the other side of the page. Hold the book with the front cover facing you and read the book 'forward' when studying the ordered multiplication facts. Hold the book with the back cover facing you and read the book 'backward' (i.e. read page 100 first, then 98, then 96, etc.) to test your memory with the shuffled multiplication facts. It's a good idea to skip around sometimes when working with the shuffled multiplication facts – so you learn the facts, instead of memorizing the order of the answers. The answers from the two sides of a page coincide in position and the book is printed on 60# white paper so that you can't read through the page to see the answers (instead, you turn the page to check the answers).
