To help the helpless is to do what Christ did when he moved among men and went about doing good. We are told in the word of God, it is more blessed to give than to receive Nothing is more true than these inspired words, and we should act upon this idea. The Lord loveth a cheerful giver, a liberal giver, for the liberal soul shall be made fat. The Orphans' Home is a great and benevolent institution, worthy of the support of all of us. We recommend that our churches take collections for this institution, and send to Rev. John M. Stewart, of Evergreen. Provisions and clothing will be acceptable at all times.
