With warmth and biblical insight, Frazee shows us how to rely on the power of the Holy Spirit just as Jesus did; respond to God’s voice in decisions big and small; raise our expectations for how God’s power can work through us; and break free of addictions, habits, and destructive thoughts that hold us back. The Bible promises us more than inspiration. More than influence. The Bible promises us access to the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. So what keeps us from drawing on that incredible resurrection power in our daily lives? In His Mighty Strength, popular pastor and author Randy Frazee explores Jesus’ time on earth to uncover the amazing source of his strength. Jesus continually sought direction from the Father and found the power to live the Father’s will through the Holy Spirit. He said yes to God every day of his earthly life—and we can too. His Mighty Strength reminds us that Jesus’ resurrection power is not wishful thinking or a poetic metaphor. It’s a real source of strength that we have access to right now. And when we embrace God’s offering, our lives will never be the same. “This is not a watered-down self-help book—this is a powerful Gospel-centered guide to walking in the fullness of Christ. I challenge you to read this amazing book and accept the glorious gift of strength from Christ that enables us to live the abundant life God has promised us!” —Francesca Battistelli, Grammy Award–winning singer-songwriter

"This book examines the role of white American Christianity in fostering and sustaining white supremacy. It draws from theology, critical race theory, and American religious history to make the argument that predominantly white Christian denominations have served as a venue for establishing white privilege and have conveyed to white believers a sense of moral innocence without requiring moral reckoning with the costs of anti-Black racism. To demonstrate these arguments, Brooks draws from Mormon history from the 1830s to the present, from an archive that includes speeches, historical documents, theological treatises, Sunday School curricula, and other documents of religious life"--

It is time to truly explore the Word and discover what it says about the authentic ways of the Creator. Examine The God Culture rather than the culture of the gods which permeates our society today just as prophesied many times in scripture. This is not a debate nor a topic that can be broken into fragments out of context. If you are a believer, even a pastor, and you have not reviewed this case except fragments, this book will change your life. Is the Sabbath still applicable today? Why? When you learn Jesus kept and taught the Sabbath and ALL 10 commandments followed by His Apostles who kept and taught the Sabbath and ALL 10 commandments succeeded by the True Early Ekklesia who kept and taught the Sabbath and ALL 10 commandments, shock waves will vibrate. Learn about the Lord of the Sabbath and His ways which are higher than our ways and the doctrines of men. Study the overwhelmingly abundant scripture proving this as well as history. Explore Messiah's Great Sabbath Sermon which is mischaracterized yet explained as such in the New Testament in which the 7th Day Sabbath observance remained. That's what the Bible says and it is time to know. This extensive Bible case for Sabbath will arm you with the needed data to render a Biblical decision on this topic. Don't let this pass you by another day. Yah Bless.

In 2012, Lukas Dorfbauer identified a manuscript in Cologne Cathedral Library as a copy of the Commentary on the Gospels by Fortunatianus, bishop of Aquileia in the middle of the fourth century. This discovery enabled him to identify further witnesses to the commentary and works dependent on it. Dorfbauer's critical edition, to be published in the CSEL series in 2017, makes this work available to scholarship for the first time in over a millennium. The discovery of a new work from late antiquity is always a landmark in the history of research. This extensive commentary shines new light on fourth-century biblical interpretation and the exegetical practices and literary work of an African bishop ministering in north Italy in this period. What is more, it appears to be dependent on works by Origen and Victorinus of Poetovio which are no longer preserved. In order to make this important work available to a wider audience, Dr Houghton has prepared an English translation and introduction in conjunction with the COMPAUL project on the earliest commentaries on the New Testament as sources for the biblical text.
