Se exploran los aspectos prácticos del matrimonio, las relaciones sexuales, el uso de los anticonceptivos, las nuevas técnicas de reproducción y las diversas opiniones de ijtihad y MuytahiThis book is one of the many Islamic publications distributed by Ahlulbayt Organization throughout the world in different languages with the aim of conveying the message of Islam to the people of the world. All the Sahabah - including Abu Bakr and 'Umar - considered mut'ah to be halal throughout the lifetime of the Prophet, and throughout the rule of Abu Bakr. For most of the era of 'Umar, all the Sahabah generally affirmed the permissibility of mut'ah. However, at the end of his caliphate, he made it haram; and that changed everything. The generality of the Sahabah obeyed him; and only a handful remained steadfast in affirming the permissibility of temporary marriage. Some of the Tabi'in also proclaimed it halal. However, the number of the pro-mut'ah elements continued to dwindle among the Ahl al-Sunnah, until none - or almost none - accepted it anymore. The Shi'is, on their part, have remained unshakable and unyielding on the permissibility of temporary marriage - from the time of the Messenger till this very day of ours. This book is one of the many Islamic publications distributed by Ahlulbayt Organization throughout the world in different languages with the aim of conveying the message of Islam to the people of the world. Shedding light on how one of the world’s most influential religions views one of the world’s oldest institutions, this study examines marriage in the context of Islamic tradition and describes the beliefs that guide the behavior of spouses toward each other. Several examples of the importance of marriage within the Islamic framework are presented, such as the way Islam facilitated marriage, reducing the requirements of formality and easing the economic burden; the way the Prophet Muhammad encouraged Muslims to marry—even those who had rejected marriage and family to devote themselves to God; the manner in which the Prophet attempted to resolve conflicts within families to ensure the survival of peace within the family; and the way the Qur'an requires assistance for those who wish to marry but cannot due to economic or moral obstacles.

Islam in Spain has been transformed from a historical to a social matter in recent decades, attracting the attention of experts from a variety of disciplines. However, contributions to the field have been somewhat disperse. The multidisciplinary nature of the research done -mainly by specialists in Islamic Studies, Anthropology, Sociology and Law- has not been conducive to debates between specialists or to the publication of comprehensive works that recognize the wealth of views and findings. Observing Islam in Spain contains the keys to understanding current debates about the presence of Muslim citizens in Spain with regard to symbolism and public space, the law, ritual, the question of re-Islamization and the association-building and political participation of young people and women.
